This link makes me feel better!
This will be the last time I complain using public transportation so I am gonna make this good.

Wake up at 5:45 (mind you William is sick and up through out the night).

6:40 Run to catch the number 6 that will take me down town.

7:09 Get off the number 6 and look for next bus stop off SW Columbia between 5th and 6th, stop does not exist.

7:12 Next bus to arrive in 2 min. still can not find stop

7:16 Saying to myself, f@#& being green and f*@# humbly choosing to give up a free car because I am fearful to drive a tanker.

7:25 Call Chris so he can help me find my way

7:28 Board the number 43 to my stinking destifreakination!

And on my way home the bus runs 15 minutes late. Is this going to be my commute 5 days straight a week?

There is something to be said about the woman who sacrifices her sanity for the sake and well being of her children. I keep reminding myself that this situation that I am in is temporary and that God will bless our family in the end. I may not have my dream job and I may spend more time at that place then I see my kids total in the week but when I am with my kids and husband I take time to look at them and enjoy and love them a lot!

It makes a difference on the weekends, we have fun and the kids are happy to be around me. They haven’t gotten tired of me getting on to them and constantly hounding them to be perfect children. My patience level is also higher because I haven’t been tested to my limit (sorry mom I guess you getting the brunt of that). So while I am in this stickin job I will try to count my blessing.

1. Time spent with family more valuable.

2. Will be able to read a lot of books while riding the bus.

3. 2 hours I am commuting, I am a loner with no agenda but to get from one place to another.

4. I don’t have to pay for over $3 a gallon gas or insurance each month.

5. Always meeting interesting people.

6. Chris can do the cooking for dinner

7. Early to bed early to rise

8. I guess the earth is better off

9. Down town more often

10. Exercise!

I can’t even begin to imagine those long hours and the commute- but say Kudos for being the type of person who would count your blessings and look for the positive in crazy situations, however that looks.
