The inside can be reflected on the outside… June 27, 2008
I am now convinced that this is the case. Earlier today my best friend said how she has become a clean freak since getting rid of her grubby husband. She has cleaned up emotionally and its now reflecting in the way she keeps house. To add to this, my friend has also found a very good man that loves her and respects her. I am so happy for them.
Anyway, after hearing her say this it made me start thinking about my own home and the way I have slacked on the up keep. Not very organized, no theme, and certainly lacking in the homey feel. Maybe its the fact that I myself have not found my place in Portland and have yet rooted myself in this new location.
I am going to continue to ponder this and will get back to you.
The new guy sounds like a pretty good guy!
Hi Misty,
I just read your blog. I’m sorry to hear about your step dad falling into the grips of drugs again. I will keep him and you both in my prayers. My shower went very well, lots of people and gifts! We made the black bean wraps, (Michelle did, she said making them reminds her of YOU! I agree! I pray things get better and better in Portland. My DPN monitor just came from Portland and said it was beautiful. Of course in a selfish way, I’d love it if you hated Portland and wanted to come home. But I really feel like God has a reason for you to be there. I pray you will find friends, a home, a great family life and of couse, Jesus leading over your life always in Portland. I do miss you and hope you find good friends, (but i’m not looking at being replaced! I’m sure Danielle and Amanda aren’t looking to be replaced either, LOL j/k. but i know we all want nothing more in this world than for you to be truly happy and blessed by God’s amazing love!
I love you girl! Call me when you can. Are you getting off work earlier than 5pm Portland time??
