To all my Floridians August 14, 2008
Today we have hit 101 degrees! Tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter.
It’s just me.
There are certain things that are common to “Misty”, such as,
Singing an out burst of “Don’t take it personal…” or any other catchy tune that pops in my head
Slapping my husband on the butt as hard as I can because I know I can get a reaction and then a couple more times just for the fun of it (think clean now).
Calling Danielle twice a day plus chatting on gmail plus skyping in the evening (mainly to make funny faces at each other and dirty talk ;))
Yelling to the top of my lungs in frustration (the kids don’t even notice anymore)
Being to nice
I love a lot of things about myself but I am discovering lately there are some things that I am not to fond of and will now be working on them.
Time to renovate or paint… July 5, 2008
I am like my friend Jason, a bit shy to have my friends come over to my home and see our dirty white walls and sit on our side of the road furniture (not that his walls are dirty or that his furniture is off the side of the road). So, I have decided to get off my butt and start redecorating our home. I will start off with painting the walls. We have already done the bedrooms (but have not really organized or furnished them), so now I will do the living room, dining room, and (the big one) the kitchen. I will post before and after pictures (if I can figure out how on this updated word press blog). Wish me luck cause I hate painting!
